Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor

We're currently working with an International Quantity Surveying & Project Management consultancy who are looking for a Senior/Associate level Quantity Surveyor to head up a new team in West Yorkshire.

They're ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years' experience from a consultancy background to manage a team working on a range of exciting projects throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to join a well-established consultancy offering genuine career development and a chance to build your own team.

Requirements:
- BSc Quantity Surveying Degree
- Minimum of 10 years' experience (either consultancy &/or main contractor background)
- MRICS qualified
- Ability to take control of and manage projects from inception through to completion
- Must be presentable and confident, with excellent client facing skills
- Must have excellent organisational and numeracy skills
- Candidates must be able and willing to travel to sites as and when necessary
- Full UK Drivers Licence

Our clients are a leading maintenance contractor operating across multiple market sectors providing both planned and reactive maintenance service. As they continue to expand, they are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team based out of their West Yorkshire office. They're ideally looking for someone with a number of years' experience in the Maintenance sector and ideally with previous Surveying and Estimating experience. The role will involve managing a team of up to 15 field engineers, surveying and estimating potential jobs valuing from £500 up to £250,000 across all building maintenance disciplines. You will be responsible for supervising and instructing employees on repairs to customers property, efficiently and in a manner which portrays a professional image to the customer. Also, acting as a site surveyor and estimator in the provision of costs to support the highest levels of customer service while maintaining maximum profitability for the company. Requirements: - Experience in the maintenance sector - Experience surveying and estimating projects ranging in value up to £250K - Able to manage a team of field engineers - Strong client-facing and communication skills - Excellent organisation skills - Full UK drivers licence
