Project Manager

Our clients are a family owned construction contractor specialising in fast track retail, office and shop fitting projects across the country. As they continue to expand, they are currently looking for a Project Manager to deliver Fit Out and Refurbishment projects nationwide, with jobs varying in value from £100k to £3m.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Generating tenders with Commercial Team
- Breakdown drawings into work packages
- Drawing review to ensure overlays from different trades are reflective of overall finish and design
- Managing the project team, suppliers and installation teams
- Material and contractor requisitions
- Prepare and chair meetings with clients and team
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Construction related degree (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, etc.)
- Experience working on Retail, Commercial & Shop Fitting projects valued over £1 million
- Fit-out experience
- Ability to manage a number of projects at differing stages of a process
- The ability to programme and manage subcontractors/suppliers
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office. Particularly Excel, Project Manager would be an advantage
- Excellent client facing skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety on site
- Motivated and pro active
- Flexible toward changing situations
- Career focused; keen to learn, develop and progress
- Full driving licence
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

As they continue to grow, they are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team based in the West Midlands. They're ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably within the commercial interiors and fit-out sector, to join their team working predominately on sites throughout the Midlands. You will be responsible to the Contracts Director for the management of specific projects ensuring that the company fulfils its responsibility under each contract. The role involves working on projects throughout all stages including pre-tender, pre-contract, post-contract and post-completion.
