Chartered Residential Building Surveyor

My client is a dynamic and well established Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy with offices throughout the UK looking for a Chartered Residential Surveyor based in the Nottinghamshire region.

They are looking to appoint an additional Surveyor due to expansion, they require someone who has the ability to use their skills and experience to support the continuing growth of the business. Primarily, you will be an experienced Surveyor looking for a fresh opportunity within a progressive practice who are looking for a role that is flexible and offer flexible working.

You will have the ability to clearly demonstrate sound understanding of HomeBuyer Surveys and Reports, Building Surveys and Valuations on Residential property. There will be a requirement to travel to cover projects for national clients so a willingness to travel with flexibility with a clean driving licence is essential.

To be successful in your application you will ideally match the following requirements:

- At least a year of professional experience post qualification
- RICS qualified (MRICS or FRICS)
- Residential surveying experience including HomeBuyers, Building Surveys and ideally Valuation
- Ideally registered valuer
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail

With a rising client list this is an urgent requirement and the successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary up to £50k with a generous benefits package including a company car which will be discussed in more detail at interview.

My client is looking for dynamic Building Surveyors at consultant or senior consultant level to join their consultancy team based in Nottinghamshire. Ideally with at least 4 years PQE, your role will encompass core Building surveying duties, including property surveys, contract administration and project management. As well as experience in the usual Building Surveying role, particular advantages the successful candidate will have include the following: - JCT Contract Administration experience and ability to manage and run projects onsite - Principal Designer experience / capability in CAD - Experience of Project Management - Sound technical knowledge and experience - Technical construction detailing ability in CAD - Specification / tender documentation production - Healthcare / NHS experience - Understanding of Social Housing Standards. Chartered Residential Surveyors are needed for an ever expanding Surveying practice Nationwide. They are currently taking on Chartered Residential Surveyors with at least 1 year's post qualification experience. You will have held a similar position for at least 1 year and be able to work independently with excellent report writing skills and a very high attention to detail. Your main responsibilities will include : - Homebuyer Inspections on residential property including reports - Valuation Reports for lending purposes - Adhering to audit and service level agreements - Assistance and support with calculation analysis, reporting on market analysis and queries and complaints - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders My client is accepting applications that match the following criteria: - MRICS or FRICS Chartered Surveyors - Previous experience of Homebuyer Surveys and Valuations - VRS Registered or able to meet the criteria to become a sponsored member - Familiar with iPad technology and MS Office - Residential Surveying experience ideally with valuation for lending In return you will be given flexible working hours, excellent office support, travelling expenses, a generous holiday allowance and all of the equipment required. The salary will range from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience
