Quality Inspector in London

Opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary building consultancy and architecture practice as part of a hardworking and professional team with an excellent reputation in the industry.

The position is for a Quality Inspector working as part of the Employers Agent team to oversee the completing and changeover of residential housing projects. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of construction technology including a wider understanding of the building industry including the materials used, construction processes as well as working practices and methods.

Responsibilities of this role includes:

Undertaking snagging / pre-handover inspections of completed works.
Undertaking 'end of defects period' inspections in occupied properties
Ad-hoc site inspections, including preparation of typed reports
Occasional attendance at meetings
Management of own diary and appointments
Dealing with emails and phone calls (where necessary).
Maintaining electronic records of reports, site photographs, certifications, documents received and the like.

Please note that this is not a C.O.W position, the primary focus is on pre-handover inspections at completion.

They're ideally looking for a Senior QS with a minimum of 6 years' experience to join their team managing multiple projects including high-end hotel and restaurant refurbishments ranging in value from £2m to £20m.
