Party Wall Building Surveyor

£45,000 - £55,000
North London based Chartered Surveyors are looking for a Party Wall specialist Building Surveyor with 5 to 7 years of Residential experience. Work will be within London so someone who is within a commutable distance to London would be most suited. There is some flexibility for remote working when required.

The successful candidate will have a Private Practice background with an understanding of what it takes to establish and sustain good relationships with various client types mainly residential maintenance, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement projects.

Skills required include

> Party Wall
> Acquisition Surveys
> Schedules of Work
> Dilapidations.
> Project preparation and feasibility assessments, condition and building surveys, defects diagnosis, planned maintenance surveys, insurance claim validation works, cost appraisal, budget reports, contract specifications, building works specification and design, advise on appropriate repairs and compile detailed work scopes/tenders.

The successful candidate will ideally meet the following criteria:

> Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, CRM, project management tools and AutoCAD with a working knowledge of Health and Safety, CDM roles
> Maintaining relationships with clients
> Working with the Managing Director developing new relationships
> Work as part of the wider team on a range of minor and major works projects

You will be client facing so you must be an excellent communicator confident with dealing with people of all levels.

Salary will range from £45k to £55k depending on the level of experience of the successful candidate. You will be provided with a generous holiday allowance and benefits package.

I am working with a Project and Building Consultancy with offices in the South who have an opening for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join the London office. You will be required to have substantial experience handling all aspects of Project Management and Building Consultancy to join their busy and expanding team. The role will cover all aspects of Building Consultancy covering predominantly the South East but you may also be required to travel throughout the UK. This role requires a Chartered Building Surveyor with 5 years' experience who is self-motivated, a good communicator with a good knowledge of the region.
