Associate Building Surveyor

Well established Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy specialising in Building Surveying and Project Management Services, advising commercial property occupiers, developers and owners throughout the UK.

They have begun to build up the Building Surveying services in London and are starting to build a number of specialist teams to develop the relationships with key clients and other parts of the business.

The role of Associate Building Surveyor will include the following main responsibilities:

> To lead development of a Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters specialism
> To build a portfolio of key client relationships, both internally and externally, built upon technical expertise and outstanding communication skills
> To assist in management of more junior members of the team
> Whilst developing the Party Wall specialism will be a primary focus
> Ideally the potential candidate will be able to contribute to the wider Building Surveying work of the team, which has a strong professional services bias

To be successful in your application you will meet the following criteria:

> Minimum three years' relevant post-qualification experience across a full range of building surveying duties, ideally with a focus on party wall matters, gained within a professional surveying practice
> Well organised, efficient, using initiative and working to tight deadlines
> Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with an eye for details, a commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships
> Possess a proactive approach to problem solving and ability to follow these through to a satisfactory conclusion
> Proven IT skills, including high-level Microsoft Word and Excel competencies
> Flexible, confident and self-motivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service
