Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary design company who provide a comprehensive range of services to a wide variety of clients. Their Landscape Architecture team provide specialist skills such as environmental improvements, urban regeneration, visual impact assessment and historic parks. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Graduate/Year Out/Assistant Landscape Architect to join their team in Hampshire.
The role will involve working alongside a Chartered Landscape Architect carrying out site surveys and an element of project management. Other duties will include the preparation of drawings, reports and contract documents along with the production of presentation materials. The successful candidate will be given the necessary training and experience to undertake the Professional Practice Examination of the Landscape Institute (i.e. Part IV) and progress with a career in Landscape Architecture.
Applicants must hold a degree/diploma in Landscape Architecture or a similar discipline. Competence in AutoCAD is essential as is a full, clean driving license. The successful candidate will be motivated, highly organised and have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as possessing a natural flair for design. Experience of working within a consultancy or contributing to a commercial project would be a distinct advantage.
