Due to workload they are seeking graduates to train as environmental technicians specialising as asbestos analysts.

Our client is offering a great opportunity to become a qualified Asbestos Analyst.
The successful candidate will be provided training and experience through a staged development programme leading to formal BOHS / RSPH qualifications and a role within their Asbestos Analytical department. This opportunity will enable the candidate to develop a long-term career in the Asbestos industry.

This role will involve travelling from different sites to carry out air testing and using a microscope to count fibres in air samples. As an Analyst you will also be inspecting asbestos removal projects and certify the areas as safe for re-occupation after a formal process.

This role does require extensive travelling from site to site.

You will be joining a friendly company of professionals focused on excellent service to their customers and also be part of a good working environment.

To be considered for this position you will need a full UK driving licence, have an excellent work ethic and completed a degree in Chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, Chemistry or Environmental Science.

The purpose of the programme is to develop and train university leavers in all aspects of the water and air hygiene business. Other areas that will be covered throughout the program will be confined spaces training, first aid, asbestos & Legionella awareness, Air Hygiene including kitchen extract and general extract systems, Sales/Account management & administration/planning and scheduling, Water Hygiene, Indoor Air Quality Monitoring and Legionella Risk Assessment of Water Systems (WMS). Other areas of development subject to identification of the preferential/most suitable area for the trainee/graduate may include system training, sales training, management training, finance training.
