Senior Ecologist - Hampshire

£28,000 - £34,000
Our client is a Landscape Arboricultural, & Ecological Consultancy. They are currently seeking an experienced senior ecologist to join their small team and undertake and manage a variety of field surveys. The role is based out of their office in Hampshire.

Role Requirements;

-Bat Survey Licence
-Four years' experience in ecological consultancy
-Competent undertaking Phase 1 Habitat Assessment and Protected Species Surveys
-Good knowledge of British flora and fauna
-Good understanding of wildlife legislation and the planning system
-Excellent report writing skills
-Experience of successfully applying for and implementing European Protected Species Mitigation Licences would be particularly desirable
-Full driving licence

A first degree in a relevant subject is essential and a Masters degree in Ecology or related field is preferable. Ideally you will hold at least 2 Protected Species Licences. . They are currently looking to recruit a Consultant Ecologist to be based in their Hampshire office; this is an exciting position within an experienced team and they are seeking an ambitious individual who can be a key member of the ecological business in the region.
