Our clients are a well-established Chartered Quantity Surveying practice looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their office based in Greater Manchester.

Experience/Qualifications Required:
- BSc Quantity Surveying Degree (RICS Accredited)
- Minimum of 2 years' previous QS experience
-Good IT literacy
-High levels of numeracy and literacy
-Excellent communication and organisational skills
-Capable of working to strict targets and timescales
-Capable of communicating effectively and efficiently with design teams and colleagues
-Ability to multi task and prioritise workload

They are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team based out of their Manchester office. They're looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' QS experience to be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion and settlement of final accounts. The ideal candidate will have an astute sense of commercial awareness and be an effective communicator. In addition, you will be required to manage sub-contractors, measurements, payments, valuations, variations and general contract admin. You must be able to work independently, under pressure and to strict deadlines. The ability to work in a team environment is essential and you will need a sound knowledge of standard forms of contracts. They are offering a competitive salary up to £50K plus package with genuine long-term progression prospects as they continue to grow. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction contract management and be able to deliver projects on time and to the required standard. They're ideally looking for someone with experience managing projects of around £500k to £4m in value. A full working knowledge of the construction industry, CDM & Building Regulations and all Health & Safety legislation is essential. They're offering a competitive salary up to £50K plus package including company car/car allowance, company pension and various benefits.
