Multi disciplinary consultancy have a vacancy for a Building Surveyor to join their office in Greater Manchester.

You will ideally be chartered but if you have a similar qualification in Construction this will be considered.

My client is a dynamic and ambitious Independent Chartered Building Surveyors / Building Consultancy with offices throughout the UK looking for a Building Surveyor based in the North West region. They are looking to appoint an additional Building Surveyor who has the ability to use their skills and experience to support the continuing growth of the business. Primarily, you will be a Building Surveyor looking for a fresh opportunity within a progressive practice. You will have the ability to clearly demonstrate sound understanding across all traditional Building Surveys on Residential property. To be successful in your application you will match the following requirements: - RICS approved Building Surveying degree - At least 2 years professional experience - Be RICS qualified (MRICS or FRICS) - Residential property surveying experience - Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail With a rising client list this is an urgent requirement and the successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary up to £50k with 24 days holiday and a luxury company car (Mercedes or BMW level)
My client is an expanding independent firm based in Greater Manchester specialising in commercial and residential properties across the North West. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to recruit an experienced MRICS qualified building surveyor. My client prides themselves on being experts in the region and are looking for someone to join them with excellent local knowledge. The role will incorporate a variety of work including dilapidations, disrepair, building surveys, building pathology, party wall matters, boundary disputes and valuations. Their ideal candidate will fit the following criteria: - MRICS qualification - Private practice experience - The ability to work impartially and to expert witness standard This role may suit a candidate looking for a more varied role with greater autonomy, or a self-employed surveyor seeking the resources, atmosphere or administrative support of a busy firm with optional flexible working hours.

My client is looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor with at least a year's post qualification experience to join their team and mentor colleagues enrolled on the APC. Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to travel throughout the UK you must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for business use. The main responsibilities for this role will include: > Building Surveys > Producing and updating drawings using AutoCAD > Report and specification writing > Carrying out site progress visits > Inspections on site, project monitoring and site meetings > Refurbishment of existing sites > Dealing with dilapidations > Party wall notices > Carrying out measured surveys, producing drawings and specifications > Planning and building regulations > Undertaking condition surveys > Insurance reinstatement assessments > Project management of construction work > Residential home surveys - conditions surveys/home buyers surveys/building surveys > Mentoring and managing assistant building surveyors, as well as supporting them through their APC > Must be proficient in using AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and Outlook The offered package will range between £35k - £40k dependent upon experience. You will also be offered a car allowance, pension and generous holiday allowance
