Qualified Building Surveyors needed in the Greater Manchester region to provide cost management and Project Management services to a range of clients.
The successful candidate will be part of the wider building surveying team of qualified surveyors with good all round professional and contract experience.
The successful candidate will be provided with a ranging workload within the commercial sector, working with investor and corporate clients. So due to the nature of the role, being comfortable in a client-facing position is essential in helping to develop existing business.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Building Surveyor's inspections and preparing reports
Preparing specifications and administering repair & refurbishment contracts
Schedules of dilapidations and preparing exit strategies
Preparing planned preventative maintenance plans
Undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments
Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions
Skills, Experience & Knowledge
Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
Enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated
Must have strong verbal and numerical skills and comfortable with report writing
Excellent time management and general organisational skills
Flexible and have the ability to work under pressure
Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills
MRICS (building surveying) with proven experience, preferably PQE in a commercial consultancy
Experience of AutoCAD an advantage
