Chartered/Senior Landscape Architect

Our client is a Multi-Disciplinary Private Consultancy who acquire, design and build Exclusive upmarket properties and Residential Developments in the most prime of UK locations.

Throughout the last 20 years, they have mastered the art of building world-class homes, designed to exact specifications of the most discerning clients and have a reputation for winning awards for Architectural Design and Construction.

Within the Practice they have dedicated teams of Architects and Designers, Landscape Architects and In-house Construction teams to work on each individual project from initial stages through to Construction.

Due to a number of new long-term Schemes, they are looking to bring in a Chartered Landscape Architect to help provide advice on soft landscape aspects and project management within the wider team of Landscape Architects and Architects.

The role will involve contributing to projects in key areas from initial conceptual design through to on-going advice, project management and control of construction stages on extremely prestigious sites in and around the South East/West.

Other duties will involve site visits to assist/advise on landscape surveys and producing project reports and materials. Good plant knowledge is an absolute must and experience in detailed design, planting and construction would be a distinct advantage.

Applicants must have a degree/diploma in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline and have a years' Post CMLI experience. (The will also consider 4+ for a more Senior post).

The role will involve Landscape design, landscape character assessments and visual impact assessments as well as the management and co-ordination of various projects and team members. Other duties will involve the development of the landscape business and liaising with clients and colleagues to maintain and promote a high quality, innovative service. Applicants must have a relevant qualification in Landscape Architecture and have at least 3 years post Part IV qualification experience. This experience should have included landscape character assessment and visual impact assessment along with business development activities. Outstanding writing skills and an aptitude for design are essential as are excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
