Our client is a leading Water Treatment Company that is now looking to recruit an Environmental Service Technician in Essex.

Main duties of this position include:

Carrying out various water and Air hygiene tasks including:
Air Monitoring for Carbon monoxide and Carbon Dioxide.
Water sampling
Cold Water Storage Tank Clean and Disinfection
Disinfection of domestic water services
Hygiene monitoring of water and air systems
Remedials when on site
Carry out allocated service work within agreed time schedules, adhering to the company's health and safety policy and quality policy, and to the relevant industry guidelines and customer specifications
Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by your team leader
Be prepared for inclusion on a call out rota for out of hours work
Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration.
Quality - Ensure compliance with QMS, documentation to be correct and current
Any other associated duties which may be requested from time to time
Completion of reports and paperwork
You will act as a representative for the company, working along your team leader, assisting when required. You must conduct yourself in a professional manner, supporting clients and colleagues when needed.

You must hold a full driving licence and be physically fit to be able to complete required duties. You must also be able to work as part as a team and without direct supervision. Good communication skills are essential, as is being able to think outside the box and use your own initiative to improve processes and procedures.

Our Client is a leading national Water Treatment company that specialises in legionella control and provides solutions in Water Treatment, Water Hygiene, Air Hygiene and Health and Safety Training Services. The company is now recruiting a Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber to cover a territory in and around Essex going as far North as Luton and as far South as the South Coast. Duties: Perform plumbing works related to legionella control of water systems. To provide plumbing services to ensure the operation of all the water systems on their customer's site, this includes hot and cold water supplies Provide assistance to other maintenance personnel as and when required. To carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8. Carry out work in line with the Water Technical Manual's guidance to safe systems of work. Maintain customer's water log books in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company guidelines. To take a variety of Water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with the Water Technical Manual guidance. Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 with guidance for the Water Technical Manual. Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves. Analysis, testing and dosing of closed system heating and chilled water and Chlorine dioxide systems and equipment Installation and repair of our supplied equipment. Comply with time allocations for specified work. Complete and submit all documentation relating to the work carried out in a timely manner, produce documentation and follow the progress of any paperwork regarding customer queries. The successful candidate must have a City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing. This role will involve the candidate to work overtime as and when required including nights and weekends. The company are now recruiting for a Closed System Water Treatment Service Engineer to join their existing team to cover work in London and to the Essex/Hertfordshire.
