Graduate/Trainee Occupational Hygiene Operative

£18,000 - £22,000

Due to expansion the company is now looking for enthusiastic, ambitious Graduates to train as Occupational Hygiene Consultants and be based out of their Essex office.

The successful candidate will be involved in a staged development programme leading to formal qualifications and a permanent role as an Occupational Hygiene Operative.

As a Graduate Occupational Hygiene Consultant you will be accompanying qualified professionals onsite to test and monitor a number of environmental risks focusing on air, noise and vibration, Testing and inspecting clients water systems for hygiene and bacteria, learning approved methods and current legislation, Using tablet PCs and paper work to record site findings and Creating site drawings and reports.

The ideal candidate will have recently or within a year graduated with an environmental/science degree and have the ability to work in a team environment.

Must hold a full driving licence!

Our client is a fast growing Water Treatment Consultancy.They are now looking for a Graduate Water Quality Technician to join thier team in Essex. You will begin a training program which will provide you with significant on-site experience and give you the opportunity to be involved with exciting projects. The role will involve travelling to, and working on, client sites and you will work closely with the Account Managers in order to complete testing and analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and process water systems, as well as completing risk assessments of water systems to comply with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for the control of Legionella bacteria in water systems. The ideal candidate will have a science/environmental sciences based degree (or equivalent) and will have excellent communication and team working skills. They must also have the ability to provide excellent customer service and be able to represent the Company in a confident and professional manner. A full UK driving licence is also essential as is the ability to travel and stay away as required.
