London based Property Consultancy have a requirement for a confident and experienced Surveyor to join the company providing Building Surveys, Homebuyers Surveys and Valuations in Essex and local area with around 2 days a week in London at the most, providing excellent customer service to clients.

You will ideally have a background working for a Consultancy or in Private Practice and have previous experience in a similar role.

To be successful in your application you must meet the following criteria:

> MRICS recently qualified
> Minimum of 3 years experience in a Surveying role
> Ideally and Registered Valuer but this can be supported and sponsored upon joining
> Experience in Building Surveys, Homebuyer Surveys and ideally Valuations
> Reliability, attention to detail and excellent customer service

The salary offered will reflect the level of experience but will range from £45k to £55k plus car allowance with a generous commission structure and is negotiable depending on the level of experience and training required.

Independent Chartered Surveyors are offering the opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to work from home offering Building Surveys and property valuations. You will be home based so would need to be a self-starter with the confidence to work autonomously. You will be offering expert, tailored advice on residential and commercial property, whether clients are moving, investing in a property or managing a portfolio. You will be a Senior Building Surveyor in a nationwide network of surveyors. You must be chartered with the RICS (MRICS or FRICS) with ideally a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have some commercial, party wall or valuation experience but this is not essential. Most importantly you must be motivated and able to work on your own. There is no micromanagement here, just the trust you will work with professionalism, focusing on providing a customer experience that is second to none and be able to organise your own work and diary efficiently. Salary will vary depending on experience and locations but expected earnings will be from £40k to £70k+
Leading independent Practice of Construction Professionals operates as two complementary divisions Chartered Surveying and Project Management and Chartered Building Consultancy. There is a vacancy for a Building Surveyor at their head office which consists of a small team of Building Surveyors as part of a wider professional team. To be successful in your application you will need to possess a range of skills and experience across different sectors for both project and professional to complement the existing Surveyors and Project Managers within the department. This position would suit a Chartered Building Surveyor with at least 3 to 5 years relevant working experience, or a non-Chartered Building Surveyor with more extensive experience and the ability to work autonomously whilst also supporting/directing others. The successful candidate will be a key member of staff and must have a confident, hands on approach in order to be a reliable contributor in the Building Surveying Team. They must also be conscientious in their work, have attention to detail and provide work with high standards of presentation. It is also important for the successful candidate to have a friendly personality and be attentive to Clients expectations and needs. Whilst there will be an opportunity to undertake all aspects of Building Surveying including Professional work such as party wall surveying, dilapidations, insurance reimbursement cost assessments and occasionally acquisition surveys, the primary focus will be to competently prepare tender documents, run projects as Contracts Administrator or Employers Agent, undertake feasibility reports and cost estimates for refurbishments and alteration projects, and undertake surveys and reports for defect diagnosis and planned maintenance condition surveys. It is essential that the successful candidate understands the administrative requirements of the JCT Intermediate and JCT Design and Build contracts and is disciplined with timely issue of documentation and keeping filing up to date in accordance with the Company's QA systems. The successful candidate must also have a good understanding of construction and building pathology. To be successful in your application please ensure you have experience in the following areas before applying: - Contract Administrator duties (JCT) - Employer's Agent duties - Feasibility estimates - Condition survey reports for asset expenditure planning - Preparing tender documents for refurbishment and alteration works, including specifications and schedules - Advising surveying team on buildability and design implications i.e. Building Regulation requirements, etc. - Site surveys and reporting (Schedules of Condition, Defect Diagnosis, etc.) - Building survey/Acquisition reports (non-residential) - Dilapidations & licence to alteration advice (not essential) - Party Wall Surveying (not essential) - Driving licence and car essential with business use insurance - Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary in the region of £35k to £55k depending on experience and qualification with a generous benefits package. Including a holiday allowance of 22 days including Christmas, expenses paid, RICS Subscription paid and workplace pension.
