Due to expansion within their Water Division the company are now recruiting for a Legionella Consultant to join their team managing contracts in London and the South East.
As a Legionella Consultant responsibilities include:
Carrying out legionella risk assessment of building water systems for the control of Legionellosis
Auditing client site records and log books to ensure adequate maintenance regimes are being implemented
You will be required to liaise with project and contracts managers in relation to works under their control
Experience of AutoCAD would be useful along with being able to compile technical reports.
Educated to degree level in a Science discipline, ideally Environmental Science
Have a good working knowledge of building mechanical services
A thorough understanding of the Legislation and guidance relating to water and indoor air quality and computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes is essential.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 18 months experience working within the Legionella market. .
Basic salary up to £30K

As a Water Hygiene Technician your duties will include:
Water systems monitoring including temperature checks and inspections to ACOP-L8 guidelines and uploading of results using a mobile device
Water services monitoring and inspection
Sampling of water systems for bacteria such as Legionella and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa
On Site microbiology services
Taking water samples for microbiological analysis in line with BS7592
Water systems disinfections and / or descaling of plant and showers
Cooling tower cleans
Flushing of water systems
Attending client site meetings on request
Regular return of all paperwork to agreed timescales
Work to agreed standards and deadlines at all time
The successful candidate must have English and Maths at a GSCE level
Experience in water hygiene operations and good PC skills including a good understanding of MS Office Suite.
Must have a Full driving licence

They now seeking to recruit an ambitious and career-minded individual to join the UK Sales team. Reporting to the Managing Director, your role will be to assist the company deliver an ambitious growth plan by increasing market share through implementation of an effective sales strategy in the London region. You will be responsible for delivering sales primarily within the Healthcare, Local Authority, Hotel & Leisure sectors as well as the Water Hygiene Compliance arena. The role will be field based.
Duties will include:
Work closely with the Managing Director to drive the development of the business in the London region
Identify and target new sales opportunities, predominately in the Healthcare and water hygiene compliance sector
Prepare and implement sales strategies to effectively meet business revenue targets in new and existing accounts
Devise commercial proposals, estimate costs in line with specifications and successfully sell while ensuring projected margins are achieved
Prepare technical proposals, tender returns and deliver presentations
Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers
Manage Accounts including order handling, implementation, product training and technical support
Effectively utilise the CRM system to monitor performance against targets and provide sales forecast reports
Contribute to marketing activity and represent the company at exhibition events
Minimum 5 years' experience in a new Business Development role
Minimum 3 years' experience operating within the Water Hygiene Compliance industry
Technical competency in the application of the relevant industry legislative and guidance standards within the Water Hygiene Compliance sector
Experience in technical, consultative sales or specification sales
Track record of delivering product/ service sales to value of >£750k pa
Salary & sales commission with OTE of c£80, 000 +

As a Water Hygiene Business Development Manager you will generate new business through various methods e.g.: Cold calling, Mail Shots, Referrals. Achieve sales appointments target along with sales budgets
Responsibilities will include:
Generate leads and appointments with companies/organisations/business to generate new revenues
Develop and generate upgrade business from existing accounts.
Completion of PPQ and Tender documents.
Carry out the day-to-day Administration for accounts (job sheet production, monthly visit correspondence etc).
Liaise with service team, Operations Manager, Contracts Department to ensure all works completed to highest standards.
Advise customers of remedial actions to be taken following visits to site and quote for works.
Ensure customer compliance with ACoP L8.
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a sales role in the Water Industry
Must hold a full UK driving license
Must be computer literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programmes.
Basic salary up to £45K basic
