Quantity Surveyor - Leeds

Our clients are a well-established specialist curtain walling and glazing contractor operating throughout the UK. Following ongoing success, they are now looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Leeds.

The role:
They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a subcontractor environment to act as lead QS managing multiple projects from inception through to completion. Responsibilities will include:

- Vet and negotiate all sub contracts terms and conditions with main contractors
- Build relationships through face to face meetings with clients QS's
- Be actively involved in cash flow management and payments being received on time
- Be actively involved with all elements of the supply chain, supporting the negotiation process in securing industry best terms by contract and on a general trading basis
- Assisting in managing and appointing directly employed subcontractors, and site based trades

Requirements:
- BSc Quantity Surveying degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a subcontractor environment
- Previous experience in curtain walling & glazing is preferred
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Strong negotiation skills
- Full UK drivers licence

Contracts Manager - Leeds Our clients are a fast-growing construction contractor specialising in residential refurbishment, renovation and conversion projects throughout the UK. As they continue to expand, they are now looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their team based in Leeds. The role: As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of various projects simultaneously. Responsibilities will include: maximising project, minimising risk, maximising efficient delivery, ensuring a safe working environment, adhering to all contractual obligations and liaising with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. They're ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. Experience working on residential refurbishment and conversion projects is desirable but not essential.
