We are currently looking for a construction contractor specialising in delivering turnkey capital projects for clients in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Logistics & Manufacturing sectors. They are actively recruiting for a Project Manager to join their team based out of their Buckinghamshire office.

You will be responsible for the overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, cost management, time management, contract administration and safety management, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance meets quality standards. In return, they're offering a competitive salary package up to £60K.

Responsibilities:
" Bringing about optimum utilisation of resources including labour, materials and equipment, while ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms
o Implementation of various operations through proper coordination
o Oversee the construction project from start to finish
o Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
o Project accounting functions including managing the budget, whilst minimising exposure and risk in the project
o Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule
o Devise the project programme and make revisions as and when needed
o Co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and labourers
o Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams
o Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
o Periodic inspection of construction sites
o Chairing client and subcontractor meetings
o Ensure project documents are complete
o Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims

Requirements:
o Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management
o Thorough knowledge of legal and safety standards
o Excellent communication skills
o Ability to manage a team
o Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
o Capacity to work effectively in pressure filled environments
o Strong focus on quality
o CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
