Independent firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Hampshire are looking to expand their team with an additional Chartered Building Surveyor with a range of experience. The office is in Hampshire and you will be required to go into the office most days when not on site, the company are very flexible and will accommodate working hours to suit your journey.
You will ideally have at least 3 years' experience as a Building Surveyor with design skills using AutoCAD.
The main work will be writing up specifications on a range of buildings including residential, commercial NHS and Universities so previous experience in a similar role is essential. You MUST have extensive AutoCAD experience.
They are ideally looking for someone who is MRICS qualified but if you are enrolled on the APC and have at least 5 years PQE your application will be considered.

As a Senior Ecologist, you will typically have 5+ years of consultancy experience, including experience in project management, and will be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of ecological guidance, legislation and policy. Your role will involve fieldwork elements but will be primarily office based, with a focus on project and financial management, survey co-ordination, analysis of baseline environmental data, writing and reviewing technical deliverables, and liaising with clients, stakeholders, contractors and colleagues. You should have sufficient knowledge and experience to carry out these tasks unsupervised, and have the ability to lead others. You will report to a Principal Ecologist and support the in-house ecology and ornithology team, as well as other technical teams and project managers.

Experience in the renewable energy sector, such as onshore and offshore wind;
Experience in Ecological Impact Assessment chapter writing;
Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management;
Habitats & botanical surveying skills (such as NVC survey);
Scottish Natural Heritage Protected Species Licence application experience;
Ecological Clerk of Works experience (CSCS card holder if possible); and
