You will manage and deliver projects, this will include tendering for work, undertaking the full range of ecological baseline and protected surveys that we offer, and presenting results and recommendations for appropriate mitigation within well written reports.
The successful candidate:
-Applicants must hold at least one degree in an appropriate discipline, ideally ecology or biology.
-Applicants will be a Full or Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM or ACIEEM)
-Successful candidates should have at least 2 years operating as a project manager within a consultancy setting and be confident liaising with clients, contractors and statutory authorities.
-Candidates must have a sound knowledge of wildlife law, particularly in relation to the planning system and the Natural England development licence process.
-Candidates should be fully conversant with current best practice survey methodologies for protected species and be experienced in the field carrying out such surveys. Candidates should also have experience of designing and implementing appropriate mitigation for protected species, and will be expected to demonstrate this at interview.
