Our client is a large award winning Multidisciplinary Consultancy with offices worldwide. They are now looking for an enthusiastic Assistant/Consultant Ecologist to join their team in Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will work across the UK delivering surveys and expert advice to a wide range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
-Excellent communication skills.
-Demonstrable experience authoring ecological reports.
- Demonstrable consultancy experience in at least one of the following; ornithology, bats, Ecological Appraisal/Phase 1 and Ecological Clerk of Works.
-Protected species licence(s) advantageous
-Project management skills or GIS (advantageous)
-CIEEM Membership (Advantageous)
-Full clean driving licence (Essential)
A relevant degree, full driving licence and legal entitlement to work in the UK are essential for this role.

Our client is a leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy who specialise in high profile developments. Due to expansion they now have an opportunity for an Ecologist to work from their office in Northern Ireland.
The role will suit someone with 2 years' experience at assistant level or someone who has just stepped up to Ecologist level.
Experience undertaking ecology surveys
Knowledge of protected species licensing and mitigation
Natural England Class licences preferable but not essential
Experience working on multidisciplinary consultancy projects
Graduate Membership of CIEEM
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the UK
