The Estimator will manage all tendering processes on general construction, refurbishment and new build projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to maximise opportunity through providing alternatives to that specified along with obtaining competitive quotes from our supply chain to ensure any tender submission is both competitive & compliant.
You will be involved in a project from initial stage assisting with the preparation of any Prequalification Questionnaires through to tender submission & any subsequent negotiation. On project award you will carry out a full handover of all information to the commercial and operations teams involved, to ensure all information is explained, detailed & passed over.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of Field and Assistant Ecologists to ensure projects are performed and delivered to the highest possible standard. There will also be a large element of field work involved with the role including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species work. Applicants must have a degree in Ecology and a Masters in a related subject would be an advantage.
