As a senior you will be contributing to a wide range of projects, assisting in the delivery of planning consultancy services, undertaking public consultations, site feasibility studies, preparation, submission and monitoring of planning applications and planning appeals.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will ideally be a member of the RTPI, although not essential. Minimum of 3 years' experience and up to date knowledge of planning regulations and statutory instruments.

Role responsibilities will include a wide range of field surveys over the busy survey season, alongside office-based work such as day-to-day data analysis and management, input to fee proposals & attendance at team meetings. Typical survey's you will be regularly involved with include great crested newts, bats, water voles and badgers
-A relevant degree as a minimum is required
-Great Crested Newt licence (advantageous)
-At least 2 years' experience in ecological consultancy
-GIS capability and/or previous experience of surveying and mitigation will be an advantage
-A working knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation, policy and guidance is essential as are project management capabilities, communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
