Our client is a leading Ecological Consultancy. They provide a full range of services within ecology from survey, through data management to consultancy. They are currently seeking an Principal Ecologist to join their busy team in South Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will:
-Be responsible for managing and/or directing ecological projects, assisting in the co-ordination of survey and providing advice to clients and colleagues.
-Be an experienced team leader and manager, with a high level of competence in performance management, coaching and mentoring of staff;
-be a Full Member of CIEEM, and preferably have achieved Chartered Ecologist (CEcol) or Charted
-Have a demonstrable track record of working as an ecological consultant, with experience in ecological impact assessment in accordance with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) guidelines
-Detailed knowledge of the practical application of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
-Experience of ecological assessment in accordance with the CIEEM guidelines for terrestrial impact assessment in the UK
-Experience of managing and/or directing ecological projects
-Excellent report writing and technical review skills
-Experience in leading teams and projects
-UK Driving licence

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, talented Landscape Architect to join their established team in South Yorkshire.
The role will involve assisting with specific strategic landscape design projects as well as the provision of specialist landscape and urban design advice at all stages of the design process. The successful applicant will travel to project sites and assist with landscape survey work and contribute towards any final reports.
Applicants must have a first degree/diploma in Landscape Architecture and should be Part III qualified and a member of the Landscape Institute. A thorough knowledge of technical, legislative and policy framework and best practice relating to landscape and design matters is required as are strong analytical and design capabilities. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

I am working with a multi-disciplinary Consultancy and property who are Yorkshire based. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to work on commercial and residential projects.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Chartered Building Surveyor, MRICS, with at least two year's PQE
- Commercial refurbishment projects
- Previous experience with work on existing buildings in urban locations

- Knowledge of construction on-site, application in office work/documentation
- Building Surveys
- Preparation of Specifications and drawings
- Proficient use of AutoCAD 2016 and Microsoft Office
You will ideally have experience working in a larger team of consultants, including planners, agents, engineers and surveyors and be able to work on a mixture of different scaled projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will be required to adapt and fulfil roles typical of a flexible small practice and be methodical/organised with work following a tight programme and with regards to contract administration.
