We are looking for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor or General Practice Surveyor, also a Registered Valuer with a high attention to detail.
You will ideally meet the following criteria:
> 4 years minimum PQE
> Ability to undertake Building Surveys, Homebuyer Reports and valuation work
> MRICS or FRICS Chartered
> Registered Valuer

They are now seeking a talented Consultant Ecologist to join their team in North Yorkshire.
As a Consultant Ecologist the role will involve all aspects of ecological consultancy with a focus on undertaking surveys, preparing reporting deliverables and implementing mitigation on the ground. You will be involved in Planning and undertaking Extended Phase 1 habitat surveys, Undertaking Phase 2 species surveys, Technical report production including, survey reports, management plans, mitigation strategies and input into protected species licence applications.
Consultant Ecologist essential Requirements;
-An appropriate academic qualification in a related discipline
-Have some demonstrable experience in ecological consultancy and experience in extended Phase 1 habitat survey along with protected species surveys
-Be a holder (or working towards) of a European protected species survey license.
-Have a good understanding of relevant wildlife legislation and ecological survey methodologies
-Experience in undertaking protected species surveys.
-Have excellent report writing skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
-Hold a valid driving license
-Terrestrial ecology consultancy experience;
-Experience of contributing to EIAs for major infrastructure schemes
-Detailed knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy and Environmental Impact Assessment;
-Comfortable working within a team, or alone
-Ability to manage own time, and to mentor and motivate others
- Experience of undertaking Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveys;

Due to expansion the company is now looking for enthusiastic, ambitious Graduates to train as Occupational Hygiene Consultants and be based out of their North Yorkshire office.
The successful candidate will be provided through a staged development programme leading to formal WMS/BOHS qualifications and a permanent role as an Occupational Hygiene Operative.
The role will involve:
Accompanying qualified Occupational Hygiene Operatives onsite to test and monitor a number of environmental risks focusing on air, noise and vibration.
Testing and inspecting clients water systems for hygiene and bacteria
Learning approved methods and current legislation
Using tablet PCs and paper work to record site findings
Creating site drawings and reports
The ideal candidate will require the following:
Ability to work in a team environment
An enthusiasm for the environment and hygiene industry
Must hold a full UK driving licence
