Our client is a leading Facilities Management Company that works with Civil Engineering, Building and Environmental Services. They are now recruiting for a Water Hygiene Engineer for their Environmental Services Division to join their team in Gloucestershire.
The role will involve:
-Undertaking monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8
-Monitoring inspections will involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection and shower head disinfection
-Servicing of TMVs water softeners, water conditions, pressure vessels, CWST disinfections and HWSV de-scaling
-Working in a multi-site capacity
-Undertaking inspections using a PDA and web based electronic log book system
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
-Demonstrative previous experience in a similar role
-Previous experience in related water system remediation/maintenance works
-Working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
-Ability to achieve CRB clearance
-Full UK driving licence
C&G or similar accredited Legionella control training, and previous experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of chemical water treatment systems would be desirable.
