As Water Technician you will be carrying out the following duties:
Temperature monitoring from various domestic outlets including tanks, calorifiers and taps
Legionella sampling from various different outlets including tanks, showers and calorifiers
Pseudomonas aeruginosa sampling from a variety of different outlets
Taking resamples when required
Flushing of rarely used outlets including emergency showers and augmented care areas
Descale & disinfect shower heads and hoses
Descale & disinfect water outlets
Blowdown of calorifiers
Carry out tank inspections to required standard and take photos for a pictorial tank inspection report
Closed system testing analysis and reporting
Identification of out of specification results and communication of these in writing and verbally
Safe delivery of samples for analysis within required time limits
Weekly checks of cooling towers including drift eliminator checks, conductivity, PH etc.
Maintaining customer records
Liaising with Account Managers on a regular basis
The individual must have good communication skills as customer liaison is a key part of this role. It is essential that they have a flexible approach to their work and confidential with customer and company information.

Property Consultancy in Gloucestershire seek an ambitious and hardworking intermediate or Senior Level Building Surveyor who is currently undertaking their APC, or has recently become Chartered.
The successful candidate will be working on residential and commercial projects so previous experience in both areas would be advantageous. You will have regular contact with clients so will need to be confident and have worked in a similar role previously.
They are looking for a candidate to have previous experience in the following areas:
- Party wall matters
- Pre-acquisition surveys
- Condition surveys of both commercial and domestic properties
- Preparation of specifications/schedule of work
- Contract Administration experience.
Ideally you will be Auto CAD conversant. As you will be travelling independently you must be a car owner.
