Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Generating tenders with Commercial Team
- Breakdown drawings into work packages
- Drawing review to ensure overlays from different trades are reflective of overall finish and design
- Managing the project team, suppliers and installation teams
- Material and contractor requisitions

- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

My client is a Chartered Surveying Practise who have a vacancy for a Building Surveyor due to an increase on workload.
They require a Building Surveyor to undertake Residential Building Surveys to include valuations and commercial/professional work in their office in the Midlands. You would need to cover a large region so a full clean driving license is essential, as well as a willingness to work out of hours.
You will be carrying out Homebuyers Reports, Valuations and Building Surveys make up the main body of work but experience in commercial aspects, Asbestos or any specialism is welcome.
The successful candidate must be registered with RICS and be intermediate to Chartered status.

A leading independent ecology consultancy are seeking to recruit a Senior Ecologist to work in their office in West Midlands.
The successful candidate will have:
-A minimum of two years post qualification experience, preferably within a consultancy or planning environment or with previous experience of dealing with Ecology issues on development sites
-Experience as an Ecologist or Senior Ecologist, in a similar (i.e. consultancy) role
-Experience of project co-ordination, management of budgets and an awareness of business and health and safety risk management
-Phase 1 habitat survey and protected species survey capability, ideally with an area of specialisation
-Botanical skills and interests and/or a survey licence for one or more protected species would be especially beneficial
-Capability and/or experience of producing and implementing protected species development licence applications

The ideal candidate will have post qualification experience in a similar role:
- Undertake routine inspections, principally of commercial management properties
- Prepare appropriate schedules of condition, dilapidations, notice of repair etc. to include costing of dilapidations
- Negotiate claims and settlements
- Administer/supervise any significant building alterations, conversions, refurbishment projects etc. to include preparation of basic drawings, applications for building regulation approval, specifications etc.
- Section 20 consultation procedures
