The post will be to support the Senior team on a variety of projects in the areas of conceptual design, detailed design and project management Other areas you will be involved in will include landscape character assessment, environmental planning and environmental impact assessment while utilising and developing the use of GIS as a tool. There will also be elements of client facing responsibilities and attend site visits to assist/advise on landscape surveys.
Applicants must have a degree/diploma in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline and a minimum of 1 years previous experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for the role as is the capacity to work with others in an inspiring team environment.

A recognised level 3 Electrical diploma/qualification.
17th or 18th edition wiring regs.
5 years electrical experience.

Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
Work occasional weekend work (at increased overtime rates)
Wiring pumps, panels and all servicing equipment.
Installation of electrical systems for projects including wiring, tray work etc
PLC interrogation (training could be provided for this)
Aid in preparing proposals from an electrical stand point i.e. volt drop calculations, cable

£25-30k per annum plus overtime

Role responsibilities include:
-Managing, supervising and training any new ecologists recruited
-Preparation and submission of fee proposals and tender documents
-Undertaking the design and management of ecological surveys from inception through to completion
-Undertaking preliminary ecological appraisals and surveys for legally protected species
-Carrying out detailed and iterative ecological impact assessments
-Designing and implementing ecological mitigation plans and site works
-Prepare mitigation licence applications
Skills & Qualifications required:
-A degree in an Ecology related field
-Have experience in holding and implementing mitigating licences for legally protected species
-Excellent report writing skills
-Familiar with the requirements of renewable developments specifically wind farms
-Bat Roost Survey and Great Crested Newt Survey licences would be desirable
-A full UK drivers licence and use of a vehicle is also essential for this role
